Derslerde öğrendiğin kuralların hepsi burada. Takıldığında dönüp bakabilirsin.
| Yapı | Kural | Örnek |
|---|---|---|
| Evet/hayır sorusu | asked (me) + if / whether + düz cümle sırası; do/did yok, zaman bir geri | “Are you hungry?” → She asked me if I was hungry. |
| Wh- sorusu | asked + soru kelimesi + özne + fiil; devrik yapı yok | “Where do you live?” → He asked me where I lived. |
| Dolaylı soru | Can you tell me / Do you know + soru kelimesi + özne + fiil | Do you know what time the shop opens? |
| Emir / rica | tell / ask + kişi + (not) to + V; “said me” yok | She told me not to be late. |
| fiil + to | promise, refuse, agree, offer, threaten | He promised to call me. |
| fiil + kişi + to | advise, warn, remind, invite, encourage | She advised me to see a doctor. |
| fiil + -ing / that | suggest, deny, admit; “suggest me to” yok | He denied taking the money. She suggested going out. |
| fiil + edat + -ing | apologise for, insist on, accuse sb of, thank sb for | He apologised for being late. |
B1'de düz cümleleri aktardın: She said (that) she was tired. Evet/hayır sorularını aktarırken ask fiili ve if / whether (-ip -mediğini) kullanılır: “Are you hungry?” → She asked me if I was hungry.
Aktarılan soru artık soru değildir, bu yüzden düz cümle sırası kullanılır: özne + fiil. do / does / did düşer, soru işareti olmaz: “Do you like jazz?” → He asked me if I liked jazz. (“asked me did I like” yanlış.)
Zaman yine bir geri kayar: am/is → was, do → did, have done → had done, can → could, will → would. whether biraz daha resmidir ve “or not” ile de kullanılabilir.
She asked me if I was hungry.
Bana aç olup olmadığımı sordu.
He wanted to know whether I could drive.
Araba kullanıp kullanamadığımı öğrenmek istedi.
They asked us if we had been to Spain.
Bize İspanya'ya gidip gitmediğimizi sordular.
Türkçedeki “-ip -mediğini sordu” yapısı → asked if. Ardından soru değil, düz cümle gelir: if I was, not “if was I”.
Wh- sorularında if kullanılmaz; soru kelimesinin kendisi bağlaç olur: “Where do you live?” → He asked me where I lived.
Yine düz cümle sırası: soru kelimesi + özne + fiil. “He asked me where did I live” ya da “why was I late” yanlıştır.
Aynı kural kibar dolaylı sorular için de geçerlidir: Can you tell me where the station is? Do you know what time the shop opens? I wonder where he is. Bunlarda zaman geri kaymaz, çünkü aktarılan bir konuşma yoktur.
He asked me where I lived.
Bana nerede yaşadığımı sordu.
She wanted to know what time the train left.
Trenin saat kaçta kalktığını öğrenmek istedi.
Can you tell me where the station is?
İstasyonun nerede olduğunu söyleyebilir misiniz?
Türkçedeki “nerede olduğunu, ne zaman geldiğini” → İngilizcede where it is, when he came. Soru kelimesinden sonra özne gelir.
Emirleri tell + kişi + to + V, ricaları ask + kişi + to + V ile aktarırız: “Sit down.” → She told me to sit down. “Please help me.” → He asked me to help him.
Olumsuz emirde not to'dan önce gelir: “Don't be late.” → Mum told me not to be late. “told me don't be late” ve “to not be” yanlıştır.
say ardından doğrudan kişi almaz ve emir aktarmaz: “He said me to wait” yanlış → He told me to wait.
The doctor told me to drink more water.
Doktor bana daha çok su içmemi söyledi.
She asked us not to make any noise.
Bizden hiç gürültü yapmamamızı istedi.
The teacher told us to be quiet.
Öğretmen bize sessiz olmamızı söyledi.
Türkçedeki “-memi söyledi / istedi” → told / asked me to. “-mememi” → not to.
B2'de konuşmayı sadece say/tell ile değil, ne tür bir söz olduğunu gösteren fiillerle aktarırız. Birinci grup: fiil + to + V: promise (söz vermek), refuse (reddetmek), agree (kabul etmek), offer (teklif etmek), threaten (tehdit etmek). “I'll call you.” → He promised to call me.
İkinci grup: fiil + kişi + to + V: advise (tavsiye etmek), warn (uyarmak), remind (hatırlatmak), invite (davet etmek), encourage (cesaretlendirmek). “You should see a doctor.” → She advised me to see a doctor.
refuse zaten olumsuzdur: “I won't help you.” → She refused to help me. Uyarı olumsuzsa: They warned us not to swim there.
He promised to call me the next day.
Ertesi gün beni arayacağına söz verdi.
She refused to help me.
Bana yardım etmeyi reddetti.
My friends encouraged me to apply for the job.
Arkadaşlarım beni o işe başvurmam için cesaretlendirdi.
refuse helping değil refuse to help; advise to me değil advise me to.
Bazı aktarma fiilleri -ing alır: deny (inkâr etmek), admit (itiraf etmek, kabul etmek), suggest (önermek). “I didn't take the money.” → He denied taking the money.
suggest özel bir fiildir: suggest + -ing ya da suggest that + kişi + (should) V. “Let's go to the cinema.” → She suggested going to the cinema. Türk öğrencilerin klasik hatası “She suggested me to go” yanlıştır → She suggested that I go / that I should go.
Edat alan fiillerde edattan sonra yine -ing gelir: apologise for (özür dilemek), insist on (ısrar etmek), thank sb for, accuse sb of (suçlamak). “Sorry I'm late.” → He apologised for being late.
He denied taking the money.
Parayı aldığını inkâr etti.
She suggested going to the cinema.
Sinemaya gitmeyi önerdi.
The manager apologised for keeping us waiting.
Müdür bizi beklettiği için özür diledi.
suggest asla “kişi + to” almaz. refuse to (yapmayı reddetmek) ile deny -ing (yaptığını inkâr etmek) farklıdır.
Sorular: evet/hayır → asked if / whether; wh- → asked where / why / what…. Her ikisinde de düz cümle sırası, do/did yok, zaman bir geri.
Emir ve rica: told / asked + kişi + (not) to + V. Aktarma fiilleri: promise / refuse / offer to, advise / warn / remind + kişi + to, suggest / deny / admit + -ing, apologise for / insist on + -ing.
She asked me where the post office was.
Bana postanenin nerede olduğunu sordu.
The guide told us not to feed the animals.
Rehber bize hayvanları beslemememizi söyledi.
They denied breaking the window.
Camı kırdıklarını inkâr ettiler.
Aktarılan soruda soru işareti ve devrik yapı yoktur: asked where the post office was.
